Mi Amor

Hello My Name Is Mi Amor, I came across your website while reviewing some on line support groups. My Journey is just beginning!!!! In Late December of 2015 I was diagnosed as a type two diabetic with a fatty liver. I was devastated  :(   This information came about after some struggles with infertility. This was defiantly not what we had expected to hear. To my surprise I tipped the scale at 271 pounds at 5'4 ..  :o  Yup that was my face too!!!! How in the world did i allow myself to become this size. After some considerable thought I decided it was time to do something about this and regain control of my life. My doctor and I decided that the Gastric Bypass would be the most sufficient.   :unsure: Confused?? Yeah i was just a little. On my drive home I remember saying to myself ..  How in the world did i go from trying to have a baby to finding out that I am sick?? How in the world am i going to fix this?? I remember my first appointment with the weight management doctor, I was scared to death but to my surprise it was by far the best thing that ever happened to me. By the time i had left her office, not only was 100% sure that this is the right road for me but i was motivated!!!!  :P  I am now 4 1/2 months into my preping time for surgery. I am at my most busy point so some weeks i look like this ...  :blink:  Lol. My surgery will be scheduled for late June early July 2015.  I have not yet met the surgeons who will be performing the surgery on me but I am excited to know this will come in about a month!!! So Far I am down 33 pounds with some VERY hard work and dedication!!!!  I am now at my goal weight!!!! I am looking forward to a healthier life!!! and excited to share my journey with all of you!!! :)  :D  :rolleyes:
