Thanks for all the kind words! Everything has been a breeze-well except the barium you have to drink with the GI to check for leaks. Doc came in to tell me everything looked great and id be going home this afternoon. I did ask him if he really did the sleeve because I felt so well. He chuckled and said yes.

Well tomorrow is my day 6:30am- finally! Seems like it's taken forever to get here! 2 week liquid diet started off rough but I made it-only lost 5.5 lbs for some reason. But I'd love a big fat juicy steak... I did cheat one day and had an extra piece of salmon last week but oh well! I'm so ready for this to happen. I'm gonna need a ambien tonight for sure!!

I didn't grow up being overweight - I spend most of my youth to 18 underweight. Now I'm almost 39 mother of 7 weighing in at 255 lbs 5'5'... I started my this process last year and became overwhelmed by the process and backed out. I finally had enough - a few weeks ago I had all my records submitted . My paperwork was submitted on 4/13 and I received my approval call the afternoon of 4/14... I couldn't believe it- I felt like kicking myself for not doing it last year. Now on vacation in Orlando - I received my surgery date for 5/14 and all my pre-surgery appointments. I have to start my liquid diet on 4/30... Not looking forward to! My biggest fears are purely vanity - hair loss and sagging skin. Hardest thing I'll have to give up is going to be sweet tea!! But in the end this will be all worth it! May 14 seems so far away but it will be here before I know it!!
