Good work @wascott! There will certainly be stumbles and frustrations along the way, but I think you're right, the worst is over (though it is painfully unpleasant when every slightly overweight and insecure person in your life starts begging for your secret).

It's been a few weeks since you had surgery - how are you doing?

I'm doing great! Nothing seems to bother my sleeve. My nausea only lasted about a day and a half. I was a little worried about how much I was able to fit into my sleeve. I was taking a medication called Cintapride that promotes stomach emptying. Once I went off that my capacity seems lower. I can still fit more than I thought I would be able to at this point. Hopefully solid foods will satiate me more than liquids and purees. Once I arrived home I started a 5 day stall. I think I was a little dehydrated from the surgery and travel so I think my body was making some adjustments. The last 3 days have all been down. My only negative is that I've been really tired.
