  1. If you are around week 4 and have not had constipation issues please please try and prevent the experience!!! Worst thing ever, I will take the surgery pain than that.

      I have been VERY fortunate that I have not experienced in GI distress *knock on wood*. I will be four weeks on Wednesday and have not suffered from many issues I was freaked out about including gas and vomiting. I am sorry that you have not been so lucky. :(

      Agree that this may be the very worst part! If you are still taking narcotic pain pill and/or Zofran for nausea, that can make it incredibly bad. My doctor prescribed a prescription laxative that works on constipation caused by opiods. You can call and ask for that. If you are not taking Colace, try that. I was told I can take up to 3 a day but honestly that did not work for me. What is working for me now (4 months post-op!) is 1 Senokot-S with 2 Colace. There is also a lot of recommendations on the boards about Miralax or Smooth Move Tea. Hope you get better and don't experience that pain again! Seriously I almost passed out the first time (and frankly a few more times after that!)
