Hey I'm not going to lie I love my stomach. Buy my Dr. called me the healthiest ticking time bomb... all blood work and blood pressure is great. But 6 ft and 330.... I have a million nightmares and have that little voice telling me your fine don't do it... then the scales says ooooo god when's the date? ..... But May 14th is my day.. I coach a soccer team and tell them every day " PAIN IS TEMPORARY VICTORY IS FOREVER"

Maybear, Makes sense I am in essence a self pay.. My insurance is crap when it comes to bariatric procesures...so I don't have all those company hoops to jump through... so explains why I only have a week.. My Dr here in Texas has good reviews and medical standings just kind of made me think why I only doing a week...

So I kind of feel bad for some of youall and a little confused... My surgery is scheduled for may 14th. I see a ton of you being put on a 2 week liquid diet my doctor only makes his patients do a 1 week liquid diet... Just wondering should I feel lucky or concerned?

Seen 1 or 2 on here but wondering if anyone else has used Dr. Jay.... Had my consult with him and liked him a lot. Honestly he had the patients lined up new and follow-ups but when he came in the room he was very mellow explained everything and answered every question I had never felt rushed. I have had 2 people from my work use him and they loved him. Just want as much insight as possible. I am scheduled my PRE OP and EGD later this month and then my surgery for May 14th...

Well my date is set May 14th in Dallas... Excited and nervous....
