So how are all my June 1st buddies doing? Today is my first day back at work. Doing pretty good, kind of tired and a little sore still on the left but I have a desk job so I'm doing ok. I really haven't had any problems at all! Still on liquids, go to soft diet on Monday!

So glad you are doing well! I'm now 12lbs down which I'm not sure is on track or not, but I'll take it. I feel okay, still a tiny bit sore, still but getting around pretty good. Thankfully, I don't have to go back to work for a couple weeks. I've tried adding some soft cheese to my diet today, and I ate 1/2 a deviled egg Saturday! They both were tolerated well enough. I was just so desperate for some flavor other than chocolate, vanilla or strawberry premier shakes. :-) The soup I tried last night did not work out well, bit of nausea but it finally passed. Do you find that you are particularly sensitive to smells? My friend had salmon on her salad while I had my soup and I swear I could smell it so strongly I thought I was going to be sick. I wasn't, but that never bothered me before surgery. My tastes haven't changed like I expected, but my sniffer sure has! Keep doing well and don't forget to take it easy on yourself, still lots of internal healing to do for all of us. :-)
