I am with you. I have to take 2 GIGANTIC chewable Multivitamins a day and cannot wait until I can just swallow it down. I don't use Calcium gummies, but got caramel flavored calcium chews from the surgeon's office. They are by Bariatric Advantage.

You don't HAVE to use the artificial sweeteners. You can drink plain Water without adding the Crystal Lite in. That is my preference.

I'm 7 weeks out and feeling pretty good. My surgery was almost pain free and everything went as planned. I had a great physician couldn't ask for anything else.
I live in Ashtabula and had my surgery at Geauga Medical Center/Hospital. I have lost a total of 48 lbs, I exercise as much as I can or should I say when my lower back isn't hurting. My back is the main reason I had this surgery because I was getting to the point to where I wasn't able to leave my house due to the pain. I very happy with my progress so far and hope I continue to lose.

I am from Ohio! I had my surgery at St. V's in Toledo.

Good luck!!! I know how excited/nervous you are. I was sleeved on 3/9 and without even thinking about it, was sitting at a softball game on Friday and realized I was sitting there with my legs crossed! What a feeling! I haven't been able to do that for...well, who knows how long it was. I was so excited when I realized what I was now able to do.

I was sleeved on 3/9. The first day I felt horrible. I woke up the next morning and felt 100% better, other than just being really tired.

I am just over 5 weeks postop. The pain in my knees is all but gone, I no longer snore, my clothes are getting loose. No. No regrets.

I have not lost ANYTHING in the last 3 weeks. I had my sleeve on 3/9. I just hung up from my surgeon's office and they told me I am not allowed to step on the scale until I come to their office next week. I think it is normal.

peacheeie - Ohhh...good luck! I am hoping for NOT another surgery for you!

Peacheeie, I go back to my surgeon next week. He told me at my 2 week postop that I was doing great, but uh....I haven't lost even an ounce since then.
What happens if your sleeve is larger than a normal one?
I'm with all of you as well!!!! I will be 14 weeks post op tomorrow....I have gained and lost the same 3 pounds for about 6 weeks now!!! I am exercising and truly limit my calories to about 900/daily. Having an endoscopy next week to check out scar tissue & it has been confirmed that my sleeve is larger than a typical sleeve. I will cross that bridge when I come to it but I truly have not felt any restriction and could eat a piece of pizza 8 weeks out with no problems!! What has your doctors said when they see the scale is staying the same? Mine says "don't loose focus, stay on track, it will happen" I hear his voice every other day when I get on the scale and it's not moving!!! Let me know what your next steps are

I am just over 5 weeks out from surgery. I went to the surgeon for my 2 week post op visit and have not lost a single pound since then. I am freaking out. I can tell I am shrinking somewhat but how is it possible for me to maintain my weight on what I am taking in now. I go back to the surgeon next week and am really worried he is going to think I am eating things I am not supposed to be.
2 weeks post-op and I am SICK of calcium gummies!

I already asked. They said I am not allowed whole pills until 3 months postop.
