No change this week CW:214.3

CW: 214.3 wow four pounds loss I didn't expect it... So happy I have not lost more than a pound a week for more that two months

Hi I'm 6 1/2 months post op and I have recently found out I am pregnant. I don't think it is the fact that I am pregnant but the fact that I might be losing this baby too and the doctors ( Gynecologist) doesn't seem to want to tell me any of the results until he see me in a month. I am beginning to have emotional eating because of this and feel like it is out of my control. Have have lost a total of 120 lbs. 30 pre-op and 90 post op I don't want to be the person that gains all the weight back I need good advice and some motivation. I have been placed on bed rest until further notice. I need help and fast.

I had the same problem and was diagnosed with low potassium. They said it sometimes happens to bariatric patients and they gave me potassium pills and told me to eat food high in potassium.

Sorry I have not updated it has been a hard week. I had to have a D&C last Thursday the baby had died at 7 weeks. I had to carry the baby an extra 2 week and my stupid gynecologist did not tell me. I am overwhelmed and have recently gain five pounds but I am not going to let this get to me I am going to continue losing weight and try again in a year or more

I started at a 24/26 and I am currently at a 14/16 I'm very happy that I see the change in clothes size but I have a problem and still see a 300 lbs girl when I look in the mirror I have not adjusted to the way I look yet.SMH

I am so in but this time I am giving myself a smaller goal cause I felt like a total failure the last challenge I want to be able to lose two pounds a week so that give me 12 lbs for the next six weeks my starting weight is 221.8 so wish me luck cause I have been struggling since I had to have a D&C last week. And if I lose more than 12 lbs that would be great.

Hey my experience so far is the same no nausea which is very weird because I was inseparable on my previous pregnancies. I'm also feeling fatigued and urinate a lot. But I guess I can't complain it is way better than being stuck to the toilet LOL

Well I went to go see the doctor today and all they told me is that my HCG levels are going up but it does not mean that I might be pregnant. They said sometime the body will pretend it is pregnant so they are having wait until Wednesday to do the ultrasound. I asked why could they just do it today and they said because they don't have time then I asked if they were going to give the results then and I have to wait to see the doctor. I was referred to this doctor because he supposedly takes good care of his patients but that is not the case. I'm so mad now.

I have spoken to my nutritionist she said that they need the results, but the doctor said they can't give it to them because they need to talk to me first. Smh so I ask should I go to another doctor and my nutritionist said it would be vent take longer. I did everything right, I started taking birth control the week after surgery and it still didn't help me at all.

I'm 10 lbs way from losing 100lbs and I am six months out. Surgery weight was 307 my height 5'9" and I currently weigh 217lbs so I think definitely you can loss 100lbs but give your body time and follow nutritionist instructions.

So I'm posting early cause I won't be able to do it tomorrow but I'm excited cause I lost 4 lbs. I'm 220 lbs. yay????

Your thinking about filling for divorce after three days of fighting. Don't throw in the towel just because he is not feeling the same way you are. obviously your emotion are getting you due to your unleveled hormones. What ever happen to the vows you made to him on your wedding day if you got. Did you ever think about the fact that he might be stressed out for some reason and he just wants to talk and does not know how to because he is a man. Put he's ass on a pedestal and his attitude will change. I am saying this from experience I had the same issue with my husband for weeks. But I decided to put his needs first and make him feel like the king he is to me. He eventually told me that he was afraid that I was going to leave him after I lost all my weight and find someone better than him. Marriage is hard but if you find a way to make it work than go for it don't just throw in the towel. Communication is the key to a successful marriage. Show him respect and he will show you love.

My surgeon was more concerned that I do not get anemic but he said I can still lose weight, and my diet is the same Protein first, no more that 5 grams of sugar or fat. Very supportive he knew that I was taking my birth control everyday. He said that it is because women become more fertile after surgery. He said that he has had many patients that have gotten pregnant after surgery and still had great success.

Lol I had the same thing happen to me and then I found out I was 6 weeks pregnant. But it can also be your blood pressure

I am 6 1/2 months post op and found out I was pregnant about a week and a half ago they think I am about 5 weeks 5 days pregnant and my weight when I found out I was pregnant was 221 lbs. from 307 lbs. I was down 85 lbs. but have recently gone up to 226 lbs. I eat about six small meals a day but find myself still feeling hungry I drink about 80-90 oz. of water or any other fluid with zero calories. I would like as i go through this pregnancy to find people that are going through the same thing and post about it. I was having trouble getting any info on this matter. I am excited but scared to gain all the weight back because of little info or proper dieting.
