    I'm stuck in my weight!

I like you was keeping my calories low but when I started eating 800/1000 calories a day I started losing more. I do use my treadmill for 30min a day. Good luck with you journey.

    Approved and pre op diet

It was the best decision I have made in a very long time. I started the process 5 years ago and then chickened out. This time I had done a lot of research and I decided to go for it. My hospital stay I experienced hardly no pain at all. So I'm so happy with my weight loss I have lost 70 lbs since February 26 2015. I wish you lots of luck with your journey and a quick recovery.

    Calorie intake

I have found not going over 1000 calories and getting 60 grams of protein a day allows my weight loss.

Thanks for all the adds. I actually fixed my fitness pal to 800 calories a day. This seems to be all I get in a day.

  17. Oh yes. I was getting discouraged but I stopped weighing myself for a week then when I did I lost 10 lbs. hang in there it will come off. Your doctor should be able to give you something for the reflux I take Pepcid I didn't have much of a gas problem. Hopefully it will calm down soon. Enjoy your journey and remember protein protein and sip sip sip. Lol
  18. Hello I had my surgery on Feb 26 and I have lost 61 lbs so far. I had no trouble during or after my surgery. I've been following the diet but I did cheat and had some chips and pizza not much but I deserve a treat here and there. I make sure I'm pretty close or over the amount of protein I need daily. Any suggestions on high protein snacks??? How many calories a day do you consume?? I try to stay under 800 I hope everyone is well!!!
  19. I'm 7 weeks out and feeling pretty good. My surgery was almost pain free and everything went as planned. I had a great physician couldn't ask for anything else. I live in Ashtabula and had my surgery at Geauga Medical Center/Hospital. I have lost a total of 48 lbs, I exercise as much as I can or should I say when my lower back isn't hurting. My back is the main reason I had this surgery because I was getting to the point to where I wasn't able to leave my house due to the pain. I very happy with my progress so far and hope I continue to lose. Vicky
  20. I have just hit the 50lb mark today. I'm so thrilled, emotionally I feel great but physically I'm still experiencing pain in my joints and there's been no change in my back pain. But maybe when I get to the 100 lb mark I may feel better. I'm 71/2 weeks out so I can't complain I'm enjoying being able to do some things I was unable to prior to my surgery. I wish everyone success!!!! Vicky
  21. Yea I agree I need to do more stretches, exercise hopefully it will help Thank you all

    Clear/Color Water

Hello there Drinking Water was something I could never do. I don't know why there's not really a taste to it but it gags me. I use suger free drink mixes. Crystal light mixes and diet snapple the peach is the best. My tastes for certain foods have changed slightly I seem to want to eat eggs and bean and bacon Soup, weird but that's what I want. Lol Good luck Vicky
  23. When I was preparing for my sleeve surgery they were constantly telling us we needed 60-70 grams of protein a day or our hair would start thinning I'm 7 weeks out and everything is good.
