I'm feeling ready for surgery. However , I felt that way before my son was born and we had an emergency c-section. I wished I had done laundry and other random things. What do you wish you had done before surgery? Or what did you do?

Does anyone else have pre surgery anxiety? I am freaking out all I can think about is life afterwards. I'm horrified I'm going to be sick forever and not be able to function this summer. i love being outside and playing with the kids. Do you think ill feel normal...ish? Now that its so close I'm analyzing everything over again. sigh! Any positive words would be greatly appreciated!

I haven't even had my surgery and I already get the "you look fine" SERIOUSLY!? You must be blind. The person most against my decision is the most overweight person in my family. So definitely consider the source. People get envious/threatened easily! Good for you and your new way of life! Congrats! :-D -

I was approved for my surgery and I am meeting the surgeon in two days. How long does it take to actually set the date? Hopefully soon? I'm full of anxiety, excitement, and fear!

Woot! Woot! Surgery date set for May 5th, 2015! I've worked rather hard and I'm super excited to finally begin this journey. Apparently I've lost 30lbs since I started. That alone is awesome! I'm shopping for the surgery... I would love suggestions on vitamins, things you wish you had, just about anything you think would be helpful??

O ya CINCO DE MAYO! I met with the surgeon today and It was so boring and easy. We set the date for May 5th, 2015! I guess the day before I meet him again and we do some tests. I was so nervous to see him and now I'm just ecstatic! I've lost 30 total since I saw him 8 months ago. SCORE! Chipotle for lunch now to the gym and tanning with my sister. Best day EVER!
