Hi All!
I'm currently 21 y/o and about 283lbs. I'm looking to have the gastric sleeve done. I have been on this journey for weight loss surgery since 2/11/15. I have already finished my gallbladder ultrasounds, upper endoscopy, psychiatry clearance, and as of Tuesday 4/14, I will have completed my dietary consultation. As of 4/27, I will have my medical clearance and completed my sleep study. I was recently diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome (pcos), back in March. I'm on the quest to newfound health. I have been overweight for most of life, but this is my highest and it's a recent highest for about the last 6 months. Prior to being 283, I mainly weighed about 250ish. I hope to lose about 10% of my weight which is about 30lbs before my actual procedure. I'm just really looking for some insight from other sleevers who might suffer from pcos, because I know it does make losing weight a little harder.
