Hi my name is Jennifer and I have not had surgery yet I am still going back and forth about it I am a bit scared not of the surgery but of the whole idea of how permanent it is. I have always had a difficult time losing weight sticking with diets is tough and exerciser is even tougher. In 2011 I was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer and had to have Chemotherapy I lost 50 + lbs , as soon as I was healthy again I had gained it all back and than some. Over the past couple of years I have developed several health issues that have made exercise difficult for me I have been told that these things have happened as a result of the chemo but who knows. I am not sure how all of this works but I really don't want to be out of work for too long and I have read that some people are out 6 weeks and that scares me. I have basically a desk job but there is a lot of up and down in it. I am interested in the rue n y and the sleeve but don't know which would be best for me I am leaning towards the rue y. I appreciate any input on this. Are there any other cancer survivors out there who have done this? Oh and I just had my first visit with the dietitian last week and right around the same time my husband was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes interesting timing..
