Yes. A longer, healthier and happier life, more NSVs than you could shake a stick at, better self esteem, comorbidities that are lessened or gone, etc.. My only regret is not having WLS sooner.

I wouldn't get near ANYONE's Pusst. I guess the spelling is somewhat correct. I have seen them with a string hanging out. I guess it was attached to a tea bag? Or was it for flossing afterwards?

It doesn't work on spelling errors like "Pusst cat".

I guess the same way an American would be confused by someone from England saying they ate a "spotted d**k" by sucking on it to make it mushy...........Hey wait a minute. It isn't as suggestive with a bugle snack. Really BariatricPal? Spotted d i c k is a real dessert. I guess we can't use the word "dick. As in: Dick Tracy Dick Van Dyke Dick Cheney Dick's Sporting Goods Dick Cavett Dick and Jane etc.

I still do. I am trying to improve. Putting downs your fork between bites, taking small pieces and chewing them many times, talking to your dining partner(s), take your portion and divide it in two (if you eat the first half too fast, wait a few minutes before eating the other half), drinking a glass of Water 30 minutes before eating, smaller utensils, waiting a few minutes to eat if feeling stressed out, all can help. We have been eating fast for many years, we will learn to slow down and savor the foods in time. Keep up the great work.

A while ago someone posted a link for General Tso's "Skinny Chicken". It is pan cooked rather than deep fried and was a lower calorie alternative to the original. It was a hit with my family when I made it. There are lower calorie, healthier recipes when we have a "jones on" for something more indulgent.

Unfortunately, lately there has been a lot less "PAL" in BariatricPal.
