You mean cheese.jpg !!!!! Almost everything is better with cheese except a few things (like toes, the "ugly" parts, etc.). Sorry I digressed.

I'm so unsure of what I want! Help!
4MRB4PHOTO replied to jtellechea001's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
You need to research JAMA, ASMBS and other articles and studies, review YOUR personal medical history and discuss it with your surgeon what is the preferred procedure for you. Was the medical coordinator's opinion taking in all of the variables? Was it ascertained using the scientific method? Of the VSG patients who may not have lost as much of their excess weight, how many of them are adhering to their post sleeve lifestyle changes or are they falling into old habits, not exercising as much, eating too much high caloric foods, etc.? From my research, the bypass procedure had a slightly greater initial excess weight loss but the longer term results were very close between the bypass and VSG. There were some medical conditions that showed a greater percentage of improvement with the bypass surgery, but most had fairly similar improvement results. There are pros and cons for each surgery. That is why there is no one surgery that fits all. Everyone needs to assess their personal medical history and expectations with their surgeon and doctors. -
I work for a nation wide oxygen and respiratory company. When I first started we were using battery operated oxygen conserving devices. You can't use petroleum products with oxygen because of the possibility of spontaneous combustion. I was behind one of our customers in Safeway and she quite clearly told the clerk that she needed these items so she could have "a great time at bingo tonight". She was buying C cell batteries and KY jelly (Water based lube). The clerk looked horrified! I guess that is how she puts the big "O" in BINGO.

When do you delete your online dating profile?
4MRB4PHOTO replied to SleeveSoon's topic in The Lounge
I do not remember posting this 2 other times but if have that much free time to go through over 1,150+ posts then I'll take your word I did. I just don't know how you have that much free time with all of the divisional bracket playoff dating you do. My feelings weren't hurt, if I knew I was in a playoff tournament, I wouldn't have wasted my time and money on her. A -
When do you delete your online dating profile?

I once went on a date with someone who we seemed to have a chemistry that clicked very well. At the end of dinner, she told me that she is "deciding between me and another guy". I thanked her for a nice evening and told her I didn't realize I was in a contest. I mentioned I would have originally wanted to see her again, drove her home and then wished her happiness with whoever she selects. If someone (IMHO) is someone you seem to connect with then you should not keep drawing cards from the deck; I am sure whoever you meet that seems to be "the one" you would like to get to know better and date, to not date other people too to see if they can find someone better than you. Karma is a funny thing. -

NEW WEIGHT LOSS MIRACLE DRINK DISCOVERED (Not An Ad)
4MRB4PHOTO replied to 4MRB4PHOTO's topic in The Lounge
I have tried the "Water Zero", it is very good but a little to strong for my taste, so I usually dilute it with some H20 and on very hot days add some frozen H20 to it as a refreshing drink. -
I recently been drinking a lot more of a miracle weight loss and overall good health liquid. It helps me when I have the urge to eat something due to head hunger and is important not only to help me lose weight, but for proper health. It has no artificial preservatives, no additives (within reason), no artificial flavors, dairy-free, no artificial colors, is fat-free, gluten-free, non-GMO, zero calories, soy-free, the strictest vegetarian diet friendly, sugar-free and for the most part readily available for a very low cost.... It's called Water. It is available at a faucet or water fountain near you. The only problem I have is, do I have to wait 30 minutes before or after I normally drink my water throughout the day before having this liquid?

What about the powdered version? To quote the comedian Steven Wright: "I bought some powdered Water, but I don’t know what to add." -

After the trauma of having ~85% of my stomach removed subside, I felt no difference; only that I eat less. Overeating with a fully intact stomach or an 85% removed stomach is still uncomfortable; it shouldn't be done with either.

Given those 2 options, I would always choose the unsweetened tea over the "sweat" to drink. I was so hoping you would have said you drank it through a straw. That always makes for some fun replies. -
What is a list of some refined carbs, still new at all this. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G920A using the BariatricPal App Examples of refined carbs: "The majority of refined carbs and sugars lurk in the form of wheat and sugar. Common food items include bread, Pasta, crackers, Cookies, muffins, cakes, boxed cereals, frozen treats, pretzels, soda and other sugar-sweetened beverages and candy."

When can I drink through a straw?

So, did I ever tell you all how badly I was judged when I took my kids to see The Book of Mormon on Broadway? Was that because you confused it with the last song of the 1st act of the play "Hair" and you stripped naked? (A guy can dream, can't he?) -
How Do You Stay Cool Without Ice Cream?

Besides SF ice cold drinks and SF pops. A little more indulgent is blend frozen fruit, milk and artificial sweetener. -

Does it need all that much staying on? Not to me, but I always get in trouble for straying. Stray away. It makes this forum that much more interesting. -
