I've got my surgery date!!! I'm so ready to begin this journey! I am 5'7 and 282 pounds. How many others have started their journey like this and how did your weight drop off? What advice do you have? How much weight lost in first month, six months, year? Thanks for taking time to answer my 20 questions, lol. I know every body is different...but a general idea of what I "could" expect is wonderful.

I have to go to my pre-op consult and then will find out my surgery date. Now that I know it's about to happen I'm having mixed emotions! I am an emotional binge eater. That doesn't help. Anyone else in my boat? -

I'm still waiting on the surgery coordinator to call me and give me a date! She said it will be by the end of next month for sure! -

There are two birthdays and Easter this month...it's been a battle. So, have you given in to any cravings? You're right, it will end soon. Finally! I used to be thinner, a lot thinner! Pregnancy got me followed by a severe deep depression. -
