Wheres your proof? Its hard to become customer focus when costs get out of control and it is no longer feasible to give the came amount of service then before without raising prices. Free country, they can have that policy. Have you seen their business plan? What would yours plan be? Your calling them overpaid, bad managers, and have bad accountants without one number to support you. Who's slinging the BS? And what happens when your fixed costs goes up? You need to cut somewhere? Again, what if your fixed costs go up higher then you can manage? They have, remember all the strikes after they did that? Remeber they removed all the free meals. Remember all the extras you use to get? Thats all gone to fixed costs, not execs pocket and definitly not ticket fees. Done this too. Although, not sure what other services airplanes can sell? I know one airline put in a plane filled with bunny girls for trips to Vegas, that was interesting. They are a airline, not Walmart. Smartest thing you said here. I know your being sarcastic but you shouldn't be. Ask most economists. Airlines are like every other business in America, if your not efficient, theres 10 more companies waiting to be better. Most economists will tell you let them fall and let someone else take over. Thanks for the 9th grade business lecture. With all this I leave you with this one last thing. If airlines had it so good, a great profit margin, and execs were making hand over fists (compared to other companies). Don't you think some other entrepreneur would step up and create a "customer centric" airline? I know Jet Blue is kinda that type of newer airline, but what you know, they are having problems too.

then why support a law or court decision to force companies to conform? This I agree with. If they offend people they will lose business and another business will pick up the slack. See that is capitalism, letting the market determine what is needed. Socialism is the government telling the companies they have to. Which was what the court decision in Canada did. We call them centrists or moderate conservatives here. Not trying to start a war here. I didn't think Canada was filled with lefty wackos. However, the fact remains Canada has more socialist laws and programs than we do which was the point of Plain. Not being rude but just stating facts. As a matter of fact, the American dollar has fell below the Canadian dollar. So we have nothing to gloat about.

HAHA, what kind you getting? Sorry thread hijacker here@

These are wise words

Sorry but compared to USA, Canada does have more socialist laws and policies then we do. Not calling Canada bad, but stating the truth. And just what is a far right liberal? Thought they are only in Poland.

You mean you want to make a company respect all? If I put time, money, and effort into starting a company I sure the hell will want to run it the way I want to (unless I infringe on someone constitutional rights).

Linus never existed either.

I found this article researching fuel prices. Found it pretty interesting. Algae Farm to Produce 4.4 Million Gallons of Experimental Jet Fuel | Autopia from Wired.com

Because i am emphasing some points and if it did seem like I was talking down to someone I probably was, sorry. I only had three in there and two of them were kinda the same sentence . I think LosingJustMe does work for the airlines.

I think the law was on the right side on this one. Because another individual inflicted harm "per sexual abuse" with intent to do harm. I do question some of the other parts of the story where the officials said they will have to take the children and "deprogram them" from their religion. Maybe its a poor choice of words but I can see where this later on can get dicey. You have a link to some stories on this?

Which is why the SW policy of arm rests is fair. Then you don't have to guess and attendants don't ahve to argue with the 400lb man who doen't understand why people can't sit by him. This is good. Wish more people would do this so MY ticket prices won;t go up. Yes top execs get alot of money. What company's execs don't? What you need to do is look at margin of profits. Or maybe take a economics class. If you took one or two seats out of a certain type a plane it would cost alot. $100's of dollars x per 100's of flight X 100's of planes. Try doing the math! 60% of americans are over weight not morbidly obese. Last time I checked I can fit in the seats fine with a 43 BMI. Again, people DOOOOOOOOOO have choices. upgrade your seat! pay for seat insurance! Fly on airlines that have bigger seats. Private airlines don't have to conform to you. As a customer you can do what you want but so can they.

Happy to do what? I seen about 20 of your posts in this thread and either they are agreeing and stroking gadget off or telling other people to "be nice". Anyways good luck on that whole "stopping the baby killers" thing. I meant "baby killer" in a non personal way.......:biggrin: -

Exactly my point. It does roll off my back, I just brought it up to show hypocrisy when she rants about personal attacks. The parrot comment came up because she spent more time repeating someone else and then doing worthless drivel on "personal attacks" and never contributes anything to the actual topic. Anyways the post is from another thread, but I won't be coming back to this one, because it only seems vindictive people who trying to screw with each other and have no good arguements are on now. I think they call them forum trolls. Where I come from you just feed trolls waffles. Here you folks go! (#)(#)(#) -

Sure thats all you said? It wasn't in this thread, but in another. And this is what you said Sounds to me you are inferring that I sinned worse then calling names without any evidence. Which to my religion in itself is a sin. Again, all i said originally was the words "church goers" which wasn't pointed to anyone and even admittedly call myself a church goer all the time. Yet with that statement you had to get personal. I'm not trying to complain about it, because it rolls off my back like Water. Just pointing out your hypocritical rants about people taking personal shots at other people. -

A parrot is an animal who will repeats what a person says in conversations and contributes nothing else except "squawks" and "eeks". Hmm sounds like someone who posts here......... So go ahead and cast the first stone. Your pretty good at it! -

These quotes are form ELENATION. They are not any worse then what tommy o put up. I just like to add that most of ELE's replys were to tommy who made no comment of anyone specifically, but were directed towards religious people against abortions. Which many prolifers on here prclaim doesn't include them! -

Why you keep saying gadgetlady? He didn't even mention her name. However he did mention ELENATION who, sory for repeating this, was acting like a parrot. She was stroking everyone that was pro life while calling the pro choice people quote "rude and nasty". She also, told me I had more then just the words "church goer" to go to confession with. Then goes on to say how wonderful all the other people are which is the point tommy O was trying to make. Gadgetlady, had for the most part been very civil, except for the one comment she apologized for. And Tommy O didn't mention her in this post. -

Its ok to say anything you want Tommy. Jesus will just forgive you the next morning. Well, unless your talking about pro choice opinions. You will burn for that one. -
Its not the law. Its a measurable way to tell big people that they are too big for the seat. Its a "policy" not a "law". I support that policy because then you don't have any questions about who can and cannot sit in just one seat.

How i built up was on the treadmill. I started with brisk walking for 60 minutes at 3mph. Thats 3 miles a day. Then, I added to the speed slowley every couple of weeks. You will be running 5 miles a day in no time.

Especially since you will have to update it monthly from now on. Also, can you do seasonal pictures? Like for march you need to wear green, santa suit in december, and bikini in the summer!

Basically, in this situation as with handicap people, and people with larger then normal carry-ons they do a quick once over for any of these things. Its alot easier to handle it before they get on the plane then after. If somone stopped me I wouldn't mind at all. I would politely say "I've flown before and had no problem with belts or armests". I have no shame in how big I am. If I'm questioned about it I answer. Just like any other person in a unique position.
