Good morning happy weekend. Yes we all have come so far to not reach the finish lines. Yea the sleep apnea I figured but my surgeon didn't require me to actually get the machine I barely made the cut off. If it was 20 or more I would have had to get the machine and had it for surgery and I was a 17. Thank God My EGD did show Gerd and gastritis also positive for helcobacter pylori so I had to do those antibiotics but I know all will be well. I go back on the 28th for a retest. All these hopes but it's for the betterment and safety of us. I have also got a nice handle on the not drinking and eating but I'm a work in progress Let's keep our thread alive ladies as we come closer and closer to surgery dates of time for approval submission

Hello ladies I think we will be close in dates if all goes as planned and approved. I am scheduled to have my last visit on September 1 and then they can submit. So grateful for all I learned thus far but ready to start the process. I m 5"4 with a bmi around 52. I have sleep arena and prediabetic

I'm preop with my last weigh in September 1 going for a miracle and fast approval to meet a surgery date in September but I'll take October if need be. All other test completed thank God for growth patience and understanding through this process but I'm so ready

I'm at the end my last supervised visit is in 3 weeks everything else completed psychological evaluation done endoscopy sleep test done I EKG done I think that's all

What type of insurance do I have. I also have a 2 year old daughter and I'm a lpn

The 300 we have to pay what exactly does that cover if you don't mind asking? Two after your inital consult do u just fax or mail ur stuff to pay them she submits to insurance before ur next appointment is schedule or do u see them one more time when everything is completed and then they submit. I am on month 4 now scheduled for EDG next Tuesday then just my last two visits with NUT

Good luck on your journey and your completely right about the pros out weighing the cons. I'm half way there in 2 weeks I'll be completing month 4 of supervised weight loss. I will say that getting all the requirements sleep study egg phscy evaluation done early will help so you don't have much to worry about. Last thing on my to do list is an endoscopy

Hey @@scoutmom I am going to meet Dr. M in about two weeks. I already started the process but switching surgeons so this will be my consult with him but I have my sleep study and psychological done already and about to be on month 3 of supervised visits... Please share any insight

No I have united healthcare choice plus I am torn between the sleeve and bypass but leaning more heavily towards bypass even though it's more invasive I think it would be a better tool and effective for me

Congrats I'm going to stalk both of you just starting my journey and I have a six month supervised diet ... I have completed the psychological evaluation and pop letter scheduled my sleep study for May 15 and one month done of the 6... I'm excited but extremely nervous looking into vitamins now and try to find a protein shake that I can start drinking now at least for breakfast

I'm 26 and just starting my journey. I have the option of both ad well but think I'm leaning more towards the bypass. I am in the process of doing the 6months required first appointment is this Saturday. I have my mental health evaluation on Tuesday and waiting to schdule my sleep study. So I'm excited and nervous and impatient

Welcome. I myself am starting this journey to weight loss. I had my first consult on April 7th and was given the option of sleeve or gastric but I have to do the six months supervised.
