Blood sugar after surgery

I struggled with that as well. I was told rny would reverse the diabetes in hours (in most cases) and that I could reverse it with the sleeve but it would take a while and come through weight loss. I decided I was ok with it taking a little while, as the rny just scares me too much! -
I'm diabetic. In the year before surgery I dropped my a1c from 8.9 to 5.5. Perfect! But still had high fasting numbers and if I ate carbs my numbers would jump. I'm happy to report that since surgery my numbers have been fantastic!

Hope your surgery went well. God gave me such a sense of calmness going into surgery. I knew with my whole being that this was from him.

Newly sleeved. Lost 10 the first week, only two the next week and two the week after. I was supposed to take vit d, calcium and b12 the next day but had to wait until 3 weeks to start on a daily vitamin and b complex.
