Thanks Ladies @mrs sugarbabe, I struggeled the first day energy wise had horrible constipation (never had before) but by mid day I was fine except a little nausea. Yes I have been taking my suppliments and I don't know what I would do without them. I agree that it has been easier with getting in my vitamins and protein while at work than when I was off at home. I am doing well with eating. I pack my lunch bag and snacks at night.

Nope none of their business. I didn't choose to tell people about my surgery so I just ignore all of the gossip and stories that I hear about myself and laugh. Make sure I am looking very confident and together everyday. It kills them!!

This is my first week back at work, too. I only told one of my staff I was having WLS. But already one of my other staff blurted out in front of the other three--in the middle of a staff meeting--that I'd lost so much weight! She assumed that it's just been from the stress/recovery of my "unspecified surgery" that I was out for, but I wasn't expecting anyone to notice my weight loss at this point. I lost about 30lb over the last 2-3 months including pre-op diet, and about 10-15 since surgery, but I guess I'm looking a lot different in the last 2 weeks.

Oh you are definitely looking different for sure. Even 10 pounds makes a difference. It is amazing how people are so quick to criticize and be so obsessed with weight. I have heard since I have been back to work that since people didn't know that I was taking leave, they were saying that I was fired (I cleared my work area even personal belongings before I left). I was rushed to the ER and sick (illness unknown). Then I heard that someone had the nerve to say that it "looked like" I had gastric bypass surgery. I asked the person what does that look like? They were speechless. I knew people would notice my weight loss but to be so judgmental and intrusive is amazing. I look past it and am so grateful for a second chance to be healthy, happy and live the life that I am supposed to live with my kids. Awesome Job and best to luck to you.
