I'm sure my story has a similar sound to some of yours. If I had a dollar for every pound I lost..... and maybe another pound for every one that I've gained back. I've tried a multitude of diets and "lifestyle changes" and yet..... here I am again. I'm sick and tired of being tired and hurting. All of my pain completely due to my weight. So I'm checking into bariatric surgery. That's the stage that I'm at. I have an initial consultation with a doctor this Friday but I think this might be the place to find "the good the bad and the ugly" TRUTH about this subject.
I'm not looking for candy coated rainbows here. If I decide to do this I want to know what may or may not happen. I can plan for the worst and be thrilled if it never happens. :) But I'd like to know what that might be. I'm a big girl. I can take it.
I'm looking forward to asking questions and getting honest answers. I'm excited for both and the possibility that this direction might be my final stop.
