Hi, I'm Linda and I'm also planning to be banded in March, March 3 to be exact. My insurance doesn't cover the surgery, so I'll be paying myself. Still, I've been surprised at how easily the doctor approved my surgery. I've lost and regained hundreds of pounds in my life, so I think that was the main reason. I'm having some anxiety about taking such a big step and since anxiety always leads to overeating for me, I've gained weight in the last several weeks. I'm not sure how I'll deal with that kind of anxiety when I can't eat very much. Any thoughts about this? Lalalinda

Hi, everyone. My name is Linda and I've recently decided to go ahead with lap bank surgery. I have an appointment to see a recommended doctor for the first time and plan to have surgery within the first two weeks of January. I've lost and regained significant amounts of weight so many times, and I have a number of weight related health problems that are developing or getting worse. But, I want to ask all the veterans if they would go ahead knowing what they know now. Do you have any regrets? Has it been worth the considerable pain and forced lifestyle changes? I'd love to hear what you think!

I'm just having my first meeting with the doctor next week. I was hoping I could plan on surgery in January, but now that I know how long it's taken some of you, I'm concerned. How long did you have to wait? I'm really to go right now, so waiting will be hard!
