a pillow. LIke a throw pillow from your couch. I held it against my abdomen, it made it a lot easier to sit up, cough, sneeze. I am 6 days post op and still have my pillow in my lap at all times. Good Luck!

I went in yesterday to get my sleeve done. Im so proud i didnt chicken out. Im home now but they hooked me up with done good meds in the hospital, but didn't give a script for zofran, but gave me liquid hyrdocodine. (Which tastes gross by the way) I'm doing fine otherwise but I get really bad gas pains in my chest after I eat or drink. considering this is only day 1 I'm either thinking that's inflammation or from the anesthesia. I hope it goes away soon. I already look thinner but it's because my doctor took out as part of my stomach that could hold a two liter of soda. wow I didn't know my stomach was that big. any words of wisdom on my gas pains?

HI! Im new to the group and I got my surgery date today! April 23!! Started my diet today and the ladies at GNC talked me into buying ISOPURE protein drinks and they are SO gross!! Any suggestions on what actually tastes good?!

My last pre-appointment is April 8. Then I have to send it off to insurance. Do you think I should get the surgery before my wedding, May 23 or after? I am generally healthy, I have a high tolerance to pain and I generally bounce back from things very quickly. I really want my surgery before, but I really dont want anything to happen. I know I cant tell the future, but I was curious to see what other people who have had it thinks! Thanks!
