I completely agree with you! All I can think of is maybe I can try and get as close to goal as possible before buying my wedding dress. That way I wont have to have too many alterations. The one thing I'm very grateful for is my mom can do all my alterations because she is a seamstress! But I cant help imagining and dreaming about where I will be in January when I finally do go wedding dress shopping! *dreamy sigh* i have a feeling though you will be close to goal when you go dress shopping though since your wedding is in Nov. How much are you hoping to lose before your wedding? I'm crossing my fingers and hoping on 125 lbs

@@kaseyw0od Im so excited for you! I'm really pumped to be able to start this journey a year before my wedding so I can hopefully be closer to goal weight for the wedding and honeymoon! I plan on going wedding dress shopping in January 2016 and I might even buy a used wedding dress so I dont have to worry about the shipping time! @@skc72 thats so awesome that you made that decision! And your fiancée is right, you can always get a new dress

Every dr has their own preference. Some are more cautious than others with their preop diet but the biggest thing is you should always follow your drs instructions no matter what. The liver does need to be shrunk because if it isnt then the dr wont be able to lift the liver to perform the procedure. My dr only requires me to do 1000 cal for 5 days then 3 days of clear liquids with protein shakes. So every dr has a different opinion and wants things done a different way, but just know that no matter what they all want the same thing

I am so excited and nervous to start my weightloss journey this coming May 14 2015 when I will have my gastric sleeve procedure done. I really wish I had taken a sooner surgery date because now I'm so ready to get it done asap! My lovely fiancée proposed to me in December right before Christmas and now Im hoping to lose 100-125 lbs before my wedding next year! Is anyone else getting married after their sleeve procedure and hoping to drop some weight for their wedding???

Im getting my procedure done by Dr roberts and I seriously can not wait! I have my class tomorrow and I already had my psych eval. Im just ready to get everything moving! Thats awesome that you have lost 70 lbs so far! Its amazing how well everyone does I'm getting ready to get the sleeve procedure, what did you have done?
