At what point does the obsession stop?
Steve Puckett replied to her1981's topic in General Weight Loss Surgery Discussions
I have found that sites like MY FITNESS PAL are indispensable !!! You absolutely MUST accurately log your food & exercise . I was quite successful in my approach to loosing weight. If you tell the absolute truth on Protein, calories, and exercise, I find it hard to believe it physically possible to stall at your weight with the calories claimed to consume. I consume 1200 to 1500 cal. per day, walk an hour or two a day, consume 100 to 140 grams of protein a day and I'm 62 years old and...well look at my banner to see my success and I lost nearly all my weight in the first year. Honest consumption and exercise logging will tell the truth, physics don't fib -

Dr. Mun is very strict, he will not hesitate to postpone or cancel your surgery if you are naughty ! Post surgery, follow his advice on eating on the follow up visit, he lets you progress a bit faster on what you can eat than Options class tells you. Just start Protein shakes ( 3 a day ) immediately if you are to visit him soon and go on this shake only diet two week prior to the surgery, it will ensure your acceptance and take fat off your liver to make Mun's job easier. GOOD LUCK !! -

Wow Carol, you are soooo right on target. Its refreshing to hear an honest evaluation of our situations, no B.S. or ...."but they are healthy sugars because they are natural stuff". Its carbs, exercise ( varied ) and WATCHING THE scale. THANK YOU !
