Good Afternoon-
I am posting for the 1st time. I found BariatricPal by searching for questions on the internet. I just had the gastric sleeve surgery on March 19th. I have been on this personal journey for over a year and have been working with my husband who also had surgery in December. Watching his amazing success has been so wonderful. My journey this past week after surgery has not been easy- getting water in and staying hydrated has been really hard for me. Thinking I feel great one minute does not mean you can eat whatever you want. Stick to the diet they give you- or else you will feel sick, have diarrea and can vomit. I have experienced them all and it does not feel good. You will have burst of energy and feel good and then all of a sudden you find yourself needing a nape. I am on the run all the time and slowing down and taking care of my body has been a great lesson this week. WALK WALK as much as you can you feel better have more energy. Take care of yourself- which I am learning the slow way. Look forward to following others stories.
