I had the balloon taken out after 2 months. I was not tolerating it well. Dr. Shieh suggested the laparoscopic hernia repair with placation of stomach. Today is day 3 post. I am on clear liquids and move to full liquids tomorrow. I did loose 15 lbs. with the balloon. Before I had the balloon I had lost 25 pounds but reach a stubborn plateau for 7 months. The balloon looked like a good option for more. I just wish I could have tolerated it better.
Now 2 wks post and doing great !! Have returned to my preferred activity. I feel I will reach my goal weight before the end of this year.
