I had mine 9:30 in the am. I had to stay overnight. My body love anesthesia and does not care for the medical staff when they suggest I wake up. I didn't stay awake for more than 5 minutes until 8:30 pm that night. And that was me fighting to stay awake to see my parents. It didn't work and I was back out. However I started begging the nurses to make me walk and by the next day I was ready to go. Was home by lunch.

Miralax I finally went today. I did the miralax yesterday and this morning. It's gentle and patient with my scared body and mind. (Beyond terrified to push) We got this. Come hell or high Water. Oh ps I was told about papaya enzymes and digestive enzymes. God forbid we go crazy and take too much of food or skip ahead of our plan... I heard it helps with the death like feeling that will take over. Was told they are at walmart. As soon as I get a ride I'm grabbing some.

Yes you can drink too much and stretch your stomach! I was 3 days out and I had not drank enough the day before plus I got diarrhea so to combat both I drank almost 100oz that day. My nurse & nutritionist said don't do it again! It will stretch out your stomach.Oh if I could reach that much if be good lol. I'm still only around 20/30 for the day. Way better than yesterday. Tomorrow I'm hoping for 50.

I have United and blue cross blue shield. United was faster with approval. My nurse said it normally had a two week turnaround. I new in 6 days. My requirements was 6 month diet history, nutritionist, and for my facility to be center of excellence. Oh and you had to have a certain BMI or a BMI with a co morbidity. I had a BMI over 50.

Good afternoon. I'm Amie. I was sleeved Tuesday 3/31/15. Currently in pain but doing well. Hoping to gain some knowledge from my peers.

How is everyone? Day 3 and I'm drinking more water. Still not enough. Can too much water burst my tummy? I get mild gas cramps after drinking water. I ditched the powerade for now and am drinking essentia. I get to move to smoothies today. Scared and excited. About to go and try. Wish me luck. Fingers crossed no foamed.

@@Butterfly85 @@mandyq1985 Good luck ladies. I'm too excited to sleep. I go in at 7/730 AZ time. Still have some nervous doubts but I'm confident everything will be alright. May God's hands be on all of us today & may the surgeons and staff be on too of our game. May our anesthesia and drugs be great! But our recovery and progress better.

I'm a little late in the postings and new to this site... I'm scheduled for 3-31-15 @ 9:30. I'm excited. Only thing I'm nervous about it that they are going to say my liver was in the way and they A) had to open me up -or- cancelled the whole thing.
