Good luck. -
Day one for me too. It was alot easier than I thought it would be. I seasoned and put away 20 lbs of meat and told my family they are cooking. I feel okay for now let see what tomorrow will bring. Good luck all my June sleevers.

handymannynyc1 replied to lisemaria's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I start on Monday. Protein drinks and soup broth for me for two whole weeks. -
Monday is the beginning of the 2 week all liquid diet. I have been drinking one to two meal replacement drinks a day so that I can get mentally ready. Congrats to all that have gotten the surgery and good luck to those whose date is comming up.

I told everyone and anyone. I don't need anyone asking me if I'm on drugs or terminally ill. 95% of people gave me love and support. The rest really don't matter. My kids are happy and are planning alot of outdoor activities for us. Remind you my kids are cool teens. Lol -

Hey Marybowlus my last weigh in is in may. I just finished all the pre op stuff AETNA required. As long as your bmi is 40 + you should be good. Under 40 they want sleep apnea or blood pressure ect. Make sure your primary doctor writes the letter stating who important thus surgery is to your well being -
