Congrats ladies ....my surgery was March 23rd one thing that help me was ice chips if u can't get water in ice chips will be ur best friends it help me a lot to get liquids in since I couldn't drink water as much right after surgery!! It will pass and praying for quick recovery for all of you!!

No but I hear some yes I just had good luck with my doctor to sign all the papers they need it to approve me

who ever states that having WLS is taking the easy way out does not know how much harder this is. Its hard to relearned how to eat, feeling sick when u new stomach does not like something, still have to work out hard in order to achieve your goals, blood pressure going up when ever u eat to fast, insomnia after surgery and the list can keep going.. so when ever someone will judge you and says you took the easy way out with WLS they have not idea what we go threw ... p.s. my grammar is not very good looking.. lol

I was like that too and used to drink a Protein shake in the morning and it was making me sick my dr recommend it to have some tea or small bite of string cheese first and then shakes later during the day!! Good luck I know nausea is the worst

Thanks I did fallowed my moms foot steps she had the bad instead but saw how much it help her it wasn't easy either I was there to help her threw it and now she is helping me.

do you know where in las vegas u are having the surgery? I'm here in las vegas and Dr Atkinson did mine let me know if u need any support. good luck

My doctor advice to take them after the 2 weeks liquid diet post-op

Not anymore is a constant struggle that I don't like to deal with everyday so sad but I know it will get better but for right now is sad!

We all feel like that when they took me in the OR I vomit and almost passed out before they even started Good Luck!

I did that 2 weeks out and I almost passed out just be careful my advice is to wait if u can!

i was the same but then i got premier Protein and it taste better and can drink them easier they have 30 grams of protein and it will help. i didn't like the isopure drinks earthier they have a nasty after taste. good luck

I get my motivation from my 5 yr old daughter I can do more things with her and the happiness in her makes it all worth it!!

Has any one tried this drinks here? It says it has 40g of protein?

The gas pain was only bad when I didn't walk so make sure u walk as much as u can as soon as I got to my room I started walking they asked me to rest but I wanted that pressure off right away!! Good luck!
