Hi, every one I was banded 8/08/2008 and have lost 40 pounds with out one fill. has any one else gone this long? I am getting my first fill 11/21/08 I just started being able to eat more than I am supposed to so I made my appt. for my first fill. So far I am soooo happy with the whole thin. I went from a 24 to a 18 and cant wait to be a 10. Susie

Thanks for the reply I havent heard of any one else going this long with out a fill. I feel lucky that I still am restrikted and havent had to have one. I am going to cancell my fill appt. for next week and wait one more month. Iv heard they are not much fun any way. You look great have you kept it off easy and do you still get fills?

Has any one else gone from surgery to three months out without one fill? Im still osing so my doctor says wait. I have not had one fill since surgery in August and have lost 40 pounds. Any one else like that out there? When I had surgery and they took my x-ray at the hospital to see where my band was, the nurse said man he sure but your band high. Does that make a diffrence? Im supposed to get a fill next week but dont think I need one cause I still cant eat more than I supposed to.

:cool2:hI, i HAVE LOST 45 POUNDS IN 2 1/2 MONTHS doing great but I have the same problem, my clothes are huge, a 22 to a 18. But my pants are still ok at my belly just huge around my legs and butt. I guess everything is just dropping into my lower belly and it will go last.Hang in there, if everything else is big on me I am still happy and almost 50 pounds smaller tahn I was so its all good..:wink2:

Hi, I am 25 day s out from banding and still have port pain and can eat whatever. Im still sleeping on my back because the fronta nd sides hurt. I am back to work part time but it kicks my butt. It is taking longer than i thought to recover but i am getting better. I just eat whats on the list but i know i could eat more , i hope that changes when i get a fill. :thumbup:

Hi My name is Sue and I am 2 weeks out from banding. I am just starting to get out and still have port pain when I walk. It sure is slower than I thought. I did try stage three food today and it seems ok. I am back to work Monday and hope I can make a whole day. Does the port sight get better, like walking feels like somyhing pinching and tuggin and than it gets sore. Does that sound about right?

I got banded8/7/08 and am not scheduled for my first visit until 8/29/08 three weeks later. I am feeling better so I started stage 3 of foods today so dar I am ok. They are supposed to be starting fill appt. in Sacramento soon. But I still have to go to SS. I am trying to get fills in richmond to save gas and time. They really dont give you an answer as why you cant go to Ritchmond instead I am going to keep buggin them a hopefuly they will let me. Its such a waste of a whole work day to got to san farn. I still am pretty sore when I walk around my port is that usual?

Hi, I was banded 8/7/0/8 and am still movin slow, I did to much yeasterday and it set me back, Oh well I was feelin so good I ran around and now I am in some pain again. Im 50 so maybe its slower for me. I thought I would be up in three days and running around its a little slower than I thought. Im lucky I can eat or drink anything on the list with no problem. I still have gas and shoulder pain but it is getting better. Hope you feel better soon, I have lost 9 pounds already so that is great. Sue

Hi. My name is Sue I was banded 8/7/08 and am just starting to feel better, I was hopeing to go to work in a week. How much better are you? also I am 50 and proably dont snap back as fast. Im walking around the house, doing laundry and cooking but that pretty much wears me out. How about you?

Thanks for the heads up, I just took my pain meds instead of trying to be so tuff. I think Im super woman and should be back up in three days. It dosent work that way, oh well from what Iv read Im doing pretty good, ths shoulder is the worst, but even thats livable.Im in Sacramento Ca. where are you at? How do I make the tape at the bottom of my page? Sue

Hi, My name is sue and I was banded on Thursday, Im trying to stay off the pain pills but I m pretty sore and moving slow, My left shoulder is really killing me and I feel like I m full of gas, ha ha proably am. But I seem better than yesterday. Its a little slower healing than I thought and I cant eat more than 1/4 cup at a time but in doing my protien and hanging in there. Sue

Vickie, how are you doing so far and how long did it take you to recoup?

:biggrin:It is great to hear from all of you in the Sacramento area I would love some one on one coversations. And yes Im glad Kiazer is doing the band but there where so many people at the class who did not belong, that will hold it up for the serious people. Im doing good on my diet trying to get ready for a new way of eating , I hope to hear about my next visit bt May, that seems like a long time but it will get here fast, Im keeping a real poitive attitude.

Do you have Kiazer? I went to the class on 1-7-08 pretty boaring had to go to South Sn Fransisco. Good luck at the class and yes lets e-mail id love to have someone in town to talk to. Susie:smile:
