I was wondering how much food everyone eats and how long they are full or satisfied or whatever you want to call it? Or how long until your hungry again?
-
Okay so I ate 3 oz of food for lunch. I got full before I even finished it, but I finished it anyway. It was one scrambled egg and one peice of sausage which I then weighed out. Two and a half hours later, I'm starving. Since I got full so quick, shouldn't the feeling last so much longer than 2 and a half hours???

No. I wait an hour at least after eating to have a drink.

I do. 1000 calories, for breakfast I eat 1 scrambled eggs and 2 oz sausage, for lunch the serving size of deli meat and cheese, for dinner, 3 Oz chicken or beef or pork and 2 Oz veggies.

Struggling with pre op shakes - send motivation!

I know this won't be encouraging but the next month is going to be hell. For me, right after surgery for about a week or two while everything was swollen and healing, I had no apatite. Once I moved to squishy foods, I was starving all the time. I even gained weight. Once I started my fills, I didn't notice a difference until I had 6 ccs in my 10 cc band. But I gained weight up until that point. Then I started losing again because I started having the restriction that I had right after surgery. But just know, there is ways you can eat around the band. I would feel not hungry, but keep eating anyway and as long as I ate small bites chewed through then I can get as much as I want. Get it into your mind that food is fuel not anything else. Once you get the hang of the lifestyle change of your eating it's easy. -
Struggling with pre op shakes - send motivation!

I know this probably isn't the best but I didn't follow my preoperative diet until 3 days before surgery. Then I went on a total water and protein shake diet and everything went fine. Just saying.
