My surgeon says there's really nothing you can do to ~prevent~ hair loss post-op. If it's gonna fall out, it's gonna fall out. You can take biotin to help with regrowth, though. And most people say that they have an allover thinning that isn't noticeable to anyone but you and your plumber (who will have to keep unclogging your shower drain ). Mine has been coming out for a few weeks now, but I decided to just get a shorter layered haircut to help hide it. I'm still trying to decide whether or not to take biotin (I've heard that it makes your body hair grow faster, too... ick).

it's really nothing you can do. my surgeon said the hair loss is temporary and that it will grow back. you can take biotin or use shampoo/conditioners with biotin to help strengthen the hair as it grows back.
