Have any of you messed up on your pre op diet? My surgery it's the 19th I feel like I'm not doing it right because I don't drink the three protein shakes a day I just drink one, and have a meal at night , also during the weekend I didn't do the diet but I barely ate , anyways if you messed up what happens? I'm in a high protein diet

it's going to be hard but after surgery it'll probably be easier because we won't want to hurt our new stomach, and ugh try to eat Jello at least jello it's good I'm require to do two days of liquid starting Tuesday

when is your surgery? Don't say that you'll have your surgery you'll see and I only have tomorrow to eat on Tuesday I start the liquid diet but I've been good I don't want to drink any more shakes anymore but I know I have to at least it keeps me full yes three more days I can't wait !!!

hahaha it is and we have to stick together and support each other cause the people that aren't in the same situation don't understand how we feel

I have to do liquids two days before surgery and I guess I will try to drink plenty of water during that time to keep myself full and eat lots of jello

omg I did great too thankfully I'm so happy I was craving a few things but I didn't have it only one week away from changing my life forever I can't risk making it possible we have to be strong it'll get better

well I'm able to have dinner on my diet since it's a high Protein diet I can have lean meat and veggies I did fine today and didn't get hungry but I was craving things like chocolate, cupcake things like that ugh but I didn't cheat today!!!

I'm in the same boat I mean I haven't completely cheated but I just haven't been doing it by the book ,hopefully we can make this work ugh I'm hoping it gets better

Me too surgery buddies yaii and lets motivate each other we can do this lets picture ourself in a cute outfit we want to wear after we lose weight

Ugh from today on lets just go by the book and drink plenty of water because it helps get rid of toxins and let's think positive everything will be ok I weighted myself yesterday but i didn't today because it's that time of the month and I know I gain usually around this time

I finished my 6 months req visits but I was wondering if it matters that I gained like 2 pounds when I go sign consent omg good luck!! Ugh I think I gained 1-2 pounds I hope it doesn't affect me I don't think it will, but every surgeon is different. I'm on Day 5 of the pre-op liquid diet. Seems the worst in regards to stomach aches and headaches have passed. Just stay focused on the goals and what food you're eating and you'll do fine. I've had my ups and down weeks too. Good luck! don't give up just remember every day it's a step closer to surgery!! & im going to try to drink plenty of Water I've been slacking on drinking water , hopefully he don't mind if it's only 2 pounds

Hello I'm signing consent on Tuesday and I'll get my surgery date there too, but did you signed consent before getting approve from insurance? Do you get weight when you go sign consent? And does it matter if you gained 2 pounds ?
