My ass seems to have come out better than I thought. I'm not used to having a normal ass. To me it was just one cheek with a crack in it. Not used to have two separate cheeks. I don't know why this is an adjustment for me.

No pain. I took pain medicine for the first 24 hours but that was more preemptively. The worst part was the itching. I had some reaction to the plastic strips on my incision. Once my doctor removed those, it was a lot better. Sent from my LG-H900 using Tapatalk

Drains still don't seem to be close to being removed. During the day there isn't much fluid but at night I get a lot. I think I'm at a disadvantage since one fell out only a day after surgery so I've been going with only three. Sent from my LG-H900 using Tapatalk

I feel pretty much normal. It does feel tight. I cannot really bend over. Hoping it gets more flexible as swelling reduces. Stomach is pretty swollen. Looks like I have a little beer belly. Sent from my LG-H900 using Tapatalk

Had the surgery. Everything seems to have went well. No pain. Didn't even need to use my pain medicine. One of my drains literally fell out so I only have three. Had some bad itching. Surgery is tomorrow. I leave with some before photos. Not having the chest done yet. Doing a tummy tuck and lower body lift.

Friday I go for skin removal surgery. Having a lower body lift and tummy tuck did. Finally will have a normal waist line. Not getting my chest or arms done, at least not yet. Still going to wear a chest binder as my chest really isn't that bed. My arms meanwhile are a different story. I've started to just wear long sleeve shirts and roll the sleeves up to my elbows. I would like to wear short sleeve shirts some day. Anyone know if there is such a thing as compression sleeves for upper arms that are flesh colored? Something from my elbow to my shoulder. Doesn't matter I guess if it's made or men or women.

I set up a strict routine where I eat the same foods on each day of the week. It worked and I never hit a stall and actually lost maybe too much. Now that I'm looking to maintain and possibly gain, I've added a little more calories and protein to the routine. If I notice I'm gaining to much, I have a proven routine in place that I can always go back to.

Would you say you could attend a baseball game? I have surgery scheduled for the 8th and my work has a company outing planned for a baseball game on the 20th which would be 12 days out.

I'm getting my surgery done on September 8th. Panniculectomy, Circumferential Abdominalplasty, and lower body lift. My doctor didn't have many male before and after photos. She said she doesn't work on a lot of men and then men she doesn't work on rarely consent to have their photos used.

I started at 470 pounds and a BMI of 63. I had the sleeve and am down to 187 and a 25 BMI. Once I get this skin removed, it will be even lower.

I received in the mail today an order form from the surgeon for a blood test. That makes me feel better.

My surgery is scheduled for September 8th. It doesn't even sound like there is a pre-op appointment. It sounded like I will get some calls from the hospital. One to go over medical history and another to schedule the time of the surgery.

That's the thing. This doctor doesn't seem to be suggesting I get that done and that kind of concerns me. Maybe they're waiting for my check to clear first. I may just do it on my own and schedule an appointment with my primary care doctor.

Before my sleeve surgery, I had to see my doctor who did an ekg, blood test, blood pressure etc. At that time I was high risk so I guess they will do it before. The hospital is supposed to call me regarding my medical history. Sent from my LG-H900 using Tapatalk

Now I'm getting concerned as this doctor doesn't seem to be making me get some sort of physical before surgery. Is this normal?

Scheduled surgery with the first doctor for September 8th.

Went to my last appointment. He was $19,000. I emailed him my two quotes of $11,000 so we'll see if he matches. I liked him but I don't know if I liked him any more than the others. I'm probably leaning towards the first one. How long after surgery was it before you would be able to walk up stairs?

My strength training has been on and off. I started doing it and I just get pains so I quit. I'm getting skin surgery soon. After I have that done, I'm going to work with a trainer. My doctor thinks I probably won't even weigh 160 after the skin removal. I'll focus heavily on strength training and try get back up to 180. Not going to lie, I would rather be in a position where I had to gain weight than lose weight.

Banana is the best. I sometimes like to give mine a little boost so I'll poor it into a cup and then mix in a scoop of vanilla whey protein. Thickens it up and tastes pretty good.

Lost 3.5 pounds this week and am down to 189. Looking to get skin surgery which could drop my weight anywhere from 20-30 pounds. Trying to gain weight is such a large mental hurdle. My goal at the beginning was to get down to 250. After my skin surgery I will need to get with a trainer and try to gain 20 pounds. I had lost weight before but then gained it back plus an extra hundred. It's so hard to gain and not think it will spiral out of control.
