Hi, I'm 61 and a Colorado native. Divorced with one daughter. I'm 5'6 ( was 5'8) and 267 lbs. I have arthritis in my lower lumbar and double hip replacements. I started gaining weight 30 years ago because of prednizone use for bronchitis and sciatica. Lost 45 lbs 1 1/2 year ago almost all back on. I have had asthma for almost 50 years. I have had GERD all my life; finally controlled 15 years ago. Uncontrolled reflux triggers my asthma. Had h.pylori and got treatment. Dad died of stomach cancer; lucky to have had proactive doctors to check me for the bacteria! Looking forward to loosing at least 110 lbs. My surgeon is Dr. Bolanoski at Kaiser.
