  1. Yes, I am referring to skin, as the weight loss is beginning and it will be fast, I want to do something to help reduce flaccidity. Thanks for the compression tank advice
  2. My surgery was ten days ago and that bloating feeling is almost gone, just as @@BLERDgirl mentioned, you most walk A LOT to get rid of it
  3. So, today is my 10th day post op and I have been wondering how long do I have to wait until I can use a girdle or corset belt to, you know, help shaping and keep things in place. Do any of you know?
  4. Wow all of it sound good but also makes me a bit uneasy, so do you think it is possible to develop some kind of aversion to food in general on the long run? A few years ago I managed to lose a lot of weight and it was because I just couldn't stand food, I could spend more than a day without a bite (not feeling like running a marathon of course), I felt happy because of the lost weight but it was really uncomfortable and dangerous I think. Do you think it is possible that something like that happens after the surgery?, I was sleeved just a week ago

Hi KFried... I had it done. For me it was difficult, however I believe the local anesthetic didn't work quite well the first time and I tend to be a nauseous person (and a bit coward too). The second time was successful though, just a stronger anesthetic and lots of deep breathing. .. overall it's a simple and quick test... after you swallow the little tube you just have to swallow water a couple of times, wait a few seconds and that's it. Best of luck!!!
  7. For bypass I was told is about an hour, well those are my surgeon's average times
  8. I'm also on my third day and feeling a bit sore. It hurts to get up or down and also feel a bit short of breath. However I am doing a lot of walking around the house, I know I am not going to win a marathon but it makes me feel much better, I am also doing a lot of breathing excercises with my triflo, that's a bit uncomfortable because I feel it makes me gassy but in the long run I guess it helps me
  9. Just 45 min in the OR and then about two hour in recovery for me
  10. I just had my surgery three days ago but I am already looking forward to share some pics.. soon!
