Six weeks out and not feeling restriction? Is this normal?

I was also sleeved on March 10 th and sometimes I feel like I have too much restriction. Just a few small bites and I can feel it in my throat. If I even dare try for that 1 extra bite I will be miserable for the next hour burping it up and my chest will feel very tight. Not a pleasant feeling -
I had killer acid that made my throat feel like hot lava was bubbling up. My doc put me on nexium after 1 dose it was all gone and I feel great

I have discharge and a nasty sore. I called doc and he said it's probably a stitch that's not dissolving I'm 16 days post op. There gonna check it out in a few days -
I'm 16 days post op and yes it will get much much better. I was miserable the first week everything I put in my mouth hurt but now things are going down much better the main problem I have is the acid coming up but my doc just put me on something stronger so hopefully it helps. Stay positive and good luck

How long from first consult to surgery date (Self Pay)?

2 weeks. Things move much faster for self pay at least it did for me -
My surgery was 9,800 out of pocket that includes everything except pre op test which was $270.00. I'm in Louisiana. The whole process took less than a month everything went very quickly I'm guessing that's because I didn't deal with insurance.
