Does your surgeon's office have a nutritionist you can ask about it? My program does not allow rice at all because it is too high in carbs. However, I ate a few pieces of sashimi and did fine. I am 8 months out.

Hello. Sorry to hear you are going through this. I am 8 months out and still struggle sometimes. It comes and goes. I think part of mine stems from the fact I used to use food as a comfort for my problems and now I cannot. Going to support group and counseling has helped me through it. Stay strong!

I had this same problem. A stall at 3 weeks is very common. It will pass. One thing that helps me is drinking more water- if you can. I know it's hard to get all the Water down. I'm 8 weeks out. -

I might be a scheduled for June. My last appointment with my weight loss program is May 12th and my last surgeon appointment is June 4th. They said it takes 4 to 6 weeks after the last appointment. -

I think this is a good question. Weed gives me the munchies bad. Last time I smoked out though I ate celery with a little bit of hummus and tried to chug water. I don't think I will get high after surgery though because the temptation to overeat would be too much.
