I could be either May or June. Hoping for May but we will have to see. I wish I just had a date but I have finish up all my side work before they will even schedule me.

Hi! I am also hoping for May/June. I joined too so I would some what stop nagging my family with my every thought of surgery. It is fun to stay up late and read the boards and find support and people who are going through the same thing. Welcome! I am eating what I want now, no dieting. I figured my eating will be changed for the better before I know it so I might as well enjoy this time that I do have to have no restriction. I don't find myself eating more than usual.

How long were you in there with the therapist? When I was making my appointment today I was told that it would take 1 hr to 1hr 30 minutes. Seems a bit long to be in there talking about myself...eek!

Thank you, mclorrie! I had my Pulmonary Function Test today. Weirdest test I have ever had. Loved the nebulizer hit though. My son was sweet enough to give me his germs and I have had a cough for two weeks now. Now all I have to do is wait for April 20th for my next appointment.

Hello. I have been browsing this site for the last couple of weeks and finally decided to jump right in. I had my seminar in September of 2014 and finally had my consultation after 3 months of weigh-ins (well it ended up being more like four months). I was so nervous today that my blood pressure was high (I don't have any issues with it normally). We discussed and agreed on the gastric sleeve and I was sent on my merry way with 3 referrals for the Cardiologist, Pulmonary consultation and the psychology consultation. Since all the offices are attached to the hospital I walked around and made all my appointments (all but the therapist. It was a voice machine and I had to leave a message) including a pre-operative respiratory examination. I was so excited to have those appointments made before I even left the building. It just seems that what ever I want to do it is going to take more time than I think for it to get done. My dh has vacation next week and I assumed I could knock everything out of the way but the Cardiologist didn't have an appointment available till April 24....sigh! So hopefully I can take this month of April and get everything done including my 4 hour nutritional class and fingers cross a surgery date by May/June???? So again after a month wait for the consult now it is another month for these appointments to get done.

I *think* I may be May or June. Hi I am new. 35 year old from IL. I have a wonderful and sweet and funny husband of 13 years. We have two children. My son who is 9 and our daughter who is 3. I would love to join this group to pass the time till my surgery and to make friends who are on the same journey as me. Frist consultation was today and I am hoping I can get all the other required loops holes done within the next month. Fingers crossed!
