I am 1 week sleeve post op and I am just wondering when I should expect to see some of the swelling in my stomach go away. I know that everyone is different but I am just looking for some general time frames and if there is anything I should be doing or not doing to aid in it going down.

Will I ever be able to eat again?
TudaTank2 posted a topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I am 3 weeks post op and I know that there are stages of eating before you get back to eating regular foods. So I get all of that but it seems like the only stage that has worked for me was the clear liquid stage. During weeks two when I advanced to thicker liquids I didn't do well and now that I am supposed to be doing soft foods (forget about it)!!! Everytime I eat (even when chewing and eating super slow) I feel this lump in my chest/throat and it is beyond uncomfortable...actually it is painful. I am going to contact my NUT tomorrow morning but I'm just wondering if this is something that anyone else has experienced and if so how long before it went away, if ever?? -

I think I am going to purchase this because right now I use the Aqualert app and the reminders annoy the heck out of me...this would probably be better for me!! @@TEXASLADY52 thanks for posting the details! -

He will never leave nor forsake u!! Keep your faith in Him and have a mind of expectancy! You have to know without any doubt that He will deliver and it will happen. It is simple to say but sometimes hard to do! Keep looking for a job and watch Him give u an even better one!! Bless you and try to be as positive as possible...knowing that there are things that are gonna happen in our lives (both positive and negative) but we have to not allow those things to throw us off track and if they do, we have to be strong enough to refocus and get back on track!

My surgery was Thursday and I can have my vitamins starting today (my vitamins are dissolvable). I am on liquids only until I see the surgeon for my follow up, next week. -
April Sleevers! Where are you at in your Journey?
TudaTank2 replied to CandyCrushVSG's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
Hi guys!! I had my procedure (VSG) yesterday and my recommendation is to get up and start walking as soon as possible to help relieve the pressure and pain from the gas. You will feel much better after doing so. The pain med will take care of any abdominal discomfort you have but walking is the only thing that will relieve the pain from the gas. I just wanted to share that with you all. -
