I was a big coffee lover but after surgery it does not taste the same so I gave it up.
-
It took me about two months. Plus I was not getting enough protein. When my team helped me with the protein it made all the difference.

Advice needed for journey ahead from 6 weeks

My surgeon told me not to worry about calories. Just to focus on protein first and get my 64oz of fluids. I have added some veggies but they fill me up too fast. -
A moment (more like 40 minutes) of doubt and panic..

Boy can I relate. I have boxed my fat clothes up in boxes. I now have the boxes in my car to go to goodwill. Getting them out of the closet was helpful and even better getting them out of the house. So many head games go with this new life journey. I did keep a couple of my favorite outfits just to saw me how far I have come. -
Protein first is what my team says. Plus fluid. I'm still using protein shakes. That is the only way I can get enough protein. You might re-visit the topic with your team. Best of Luck

I am getting fruit in occasionally and it has not affected my weight loss. I just live by the rule, protein first!

I always pack my insulated lunch bag with stuff no matter what. Having the right things is so important. I usually pack a protein shake, water, yogurt, string cheese, tuna in a pouch etc. staying totally away from fast food. It is too dangerous and you have really no way of knowing the nutrient values. Good luck
