I buy bottle water. Have a bottle with me at all times. Have it at home, at work and also have it in my car. Seems an easier way to measure. I do flavor it sometimes.

Is my hair going to grow back?
cjnorris replied to gettinghealthymom1's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I'm going to get a short cut next week. Tried of the hair all over the bathroom and shower. I will let you know if this helps. -
I was a big coffee drinker. Drink decaf now. One cup a day. My surgeon said I could drink regular but it does not taste the same as before surgery so I just stayed with decaf.

Sleeping on your side right after surgery?
cjnorris replied to MissLiss's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
It won't be long and you will be back to regular sleeping positions. Just have to have patience and let your body heal. -
I'm so glad you decided to have the surgery when you are young. You have your whole life ahead of you as a healthy person.

Everyone is different...follow your plan and you will succeed. It is your journey. Best Wishes

Congratulations...50 lbs wow! that is wonderful. Stay the journey and I agree walking in the water will help. It helps my bad knees. -
Sugar free fat free puddings helped me with my sweet tooth. I don't crave sugary things anymore. I think I got all the sugar out of my system and that helped the cravings

See your surgeon.

When did you start to feel hunger?
cjnorris replied to marbelvsg's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I'm 4 months post surgery and still do not have hunger. I do have a sensation in my stomach when I know I need to eat something. When I then eat some protein it goes away. Hard to describe. Hope my hungry does not come back. -
Overnight bag? What did you pack?
cjnorris replied to MissLiss's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Loose clothes and a good Chapstick. I took my iPod with music but I mostly rested in silence. -
My surgeon told me it was not likely to happen unless I did some crazy things like take lots of ibuprofen with whiskey. Anything that would of made my old stomach bleed.
-
When I was so fatigued early on, I was not getting enough protein.
-
You had major surgery. It will be sore but each day gets better and before long youn won't even remember the pain. Give your self time.
-
I was told to sleep however you are comfortable. Took awhile before I was comfortable on my right side and stomach. You won't hurt your sleeve. It may just not be very comfortable. But it does get better as you heal
-
I'm always cold. Weight loss dies that to our system. I'm looking forward to summer to warm up! Lol

Cottage cheese and swamp ass, how to get rid!?
cjnorris replied to chunkyloverlovesyou's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I just cover my with clothes..lol. I figured it was not pretty before the surgery so at least I feel better and am getting healthy. -
That seems like a reasonable amount to me. Maybe checking in with your nutritionist may help calm your fears.

I think it something everyone has to learn based on their body. I hate that feeling of Full. It is not worth it to me so I tend to stop before it happens. Once full I feel miserable for about 30-45 min.

Congratulations...
