Stressed About Giving Away Clothes that I've "Ingrown"
cjnorris replied to Spooney's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
I feel your pain. It was so hard and I was not prepared for it. Thousands and thousands of $$ out. But once I did it I felt better. Gave them to charity and thought someone else can enjoy the find. I'm not putting money into clothes like that ever again but I had faith I would not ever need them again. Best of luck with your cleaning project. Post again how it is going. -
Wow..seems a bit far out. I am six months out and get blood work done for the first time now. I might call back and visit with them.
-
Congratulations...you are doing great. You will find what foods work for you. I'm 6 months out and oatmeal still does not work for me so I just avoid it. It gets easier. Get your protein and that helps the energy level.

That is such great news. Best of luck on your journey. You are going to be amazed. Take it easy, rest, the pain of getting up and down is only temporary. Walk and keep moving. Drink and get your protein. One day at a time. Congratulations -
I see my PCP post surgery on a regular basis. My surgeon recommended I keep him informed of my progress. I'm glad I do.

How do you relieve the too-full feeling?
cjnorris replied to ZoeyBear's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
Learn from it and avoid it. I hate that feeling so never let myself get there. Listen to your body. My motto is..not one more bite! -
Don't worry about it. It is a journey. Different for everyone. Don't let the scale take your power
-
Don't worry about it. Stay doing what you do and it will come off. Don't let the scale play with your head. Everyone goes through them at different times on this journey. Stay positive

Swimming and walking...are you getting your protein. When I was weak it was related to not enough protein -
Prayers sent your way. I hope you are able to talk with your surgeon.
