Elevated Liver enzymes 4 months post op

Mine are elevated 1 month and 3month post op. I don't have a gallbladder, is it from the large fat loss your liver is over worked and the elevated Protein intake?

    Example meal after gastric surgery?

My nutritionist told us no to starchy vegetables and carbs until goal weight is met. It can cause dumping and decrease weight loss. I'm surprised to see so many people are allowed to have mashed potatoes, rice, black/brown Beans.

Post-op please help! Packing for hospital

Cellphone and charger, toothbrush and toothpaste, robe, loose clothes and underwear for ride home. Hair ties if you have long hair that kept it out if the way. Slippers or they will provide you with socks if you forget. Everything else wasn't necessary. Be careful on the gas x my doctor would not allow it so check with him or her first.

    3 days post op

Things are finally improving. I had a rough first day and half post op. I was walking every 2 hours or more in the hospital and still couldn't get the gas out. I was miserable and afraid of giving up my Morphine PCA. I couldn't get liquids in with pain it felt like the water was making the gas pain worse. The surgeon came to see me about 530 pm and held all my liquids for the night and took my Morpine away started me on my liquid lortab. I started passing gas within 4 hours and was feeling a lot better. I went home 2nd day post op and feel more comfortable at home. I sleep in my recliner because laying flat is too painful. I've increased my clear liquids and can start full liquids tomorrow. The rough start will make me appreciate my successes more and not take the surgery for granted. Feeling blessed that everyday I feel better and improve.

    Alcohol

I was told 5 months to 1 year before alcohol and no beer because the carbonated drinks stretch your pouch.
