I'm just starting out on my WLS journey and I'm finally to the place where I'm ready to make a major life change.  I'm a single mom of an amazing teenager and I realized that something's got to change  or I was going to miss out on a lot of his life. I've been through some dark places in my life and it was only recently that I saw that a better life was possible.  I'm past the fear and ready to work on a better future.
 
I've started my WLS 2 other times and chickened out.  Third time's the charm!  I'm waiting for final insurance approval and a surgery date.
