What is your favorite snack?
eclecticwingtips replied to keyyzzVSG36's topic in Gastric Sleeve Surgery Forums
1 cup oats 1 cup coconut 3 scoops (90g) chocolate Protein powder Tablespoon cocoa powder (or more to taste) Blend together in food processor Add in 1 cup sultanas 1/2 cup prunes Blend again. Add a little Water at a time till it looks moist but still separated. ( you can also add some coconut oil if you like) Stop and make into balls. Makes 30 balls at 50 calories each The amount of water is dependent on the fruit. So go slow. If you can squish the mix and it stays together then it's right. You don't want it too wet -

Tonight was laksa, last night malay chicken curry. I also have three snack a day. Tries to understand how having a food addiction and having no issues with food can be congruent.... Oh wait they can't.... Gina I'm sorry you are frustrated, sick, sad, angry and all the rest... But the first step is being honest with yourself. You have said a number of contradictory things about yourself and your journey. You are placing blame because you can't cope with the idea you played a role in your situation. Your lashing out at others while understandable is not acceptable Sent from my E6853 using Tapatalk -
scales are an indicator. Just pick the scale to use as you baseline. They are calibrated differently so will often gjve different numbers. My surgeons is always a few kg more Sent from my SM-T350 using Tapatalk

Did you ever have second thoughts?
eclecticwingtips replied to ALittleMe0914's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I'm almost 4 months out and had a niggle or regret the other week cos I was in a stall and frustrated. But it passed very quickly. It's a long road and it is going to be bumpy but most of the time I've been really happy with my decision Sent from my E6853 using Tapatalk -
Having a date wtih a cheater
eclecticwingtips replied to Hippie72's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I refuse to think of less nutritional food as "cheating" or even self sabotage. I have eaten pizza, hot chips and even ice-cream since surgery but I plan them into my day and calories. I am aim eat well 95% of the time so I can occasionally indulge. In some ways this is harder because the tempting foods are present and they aren't 'banned'. But in life there is always temptation and yummy not so nutritious foods available and I'd prefer to work on my self control than ban food or feel guilty when it's eaten Sent from my E6853 using Tapatalk -

Homestly if you have been backed up for a while you will likely need a supplement or med first to clear everything out Sent from my SM-T350 using Tapatalk
