Phyl: Wow, onederland, how wonderful. You go girl. Ok, here's my problem. I haven't lost any weight since April. I've had to have my band unfilled once, I've had a upper endoscopy done and then the ol gallbladder out in August. I feel like I've lost my way and I do not know how to get back on track. Any words of wisdom, Phyl and Janet?

Greetings, The surgery went well. I do feel much better now that I don't have the GB pain. He said I also had a pretty severe adhesion wrapped around my stomach and my port tubing that he removed. My stomach is sore and extremely swollen unlike when I had the band done. I have gained nearly 10lbs but I'm thinking that is the swollen abdomin and extra fluid. So, I'm not to worried yet. I'm gonna give it a couple of weeks to sort itself out. Trying to figure out how much walking I should or can do at this point. Joann: I didn't realize you were in Korea again. It is fun when you have a daughter you like to spend time with. My girls and I love to do things together or just spend time with each other talking. Enjoy your time there, it will come to a close all to soon. Lynn: Not sure I could undergo all that surgery! I admire your courage.

Thank you all for your words of encouragement! Great I remember you having the GB out right after your banding. I know it's a lot easier now to have it out then when you had yours out Janet. Lynn, I've heard the tummy tuck is like really a hard recovery. My sister in law had one back in December and she was cut from hip to hip. It took her a long time to get goin again. Plus you had more then one procedure done, right? I am glad you are doing well and happy with the results. Well, signing off so I can retire my GB once and for all. Well, I am having my gallbladder removed on Friday. I've been really having a lot of pain lately so it's time to split up with my GB and say goodbye. Keep me in your prayers on Friday

I've lost 60 lbs over the past year. Not losing for the past few months. Hope to get started again. Katy: So good to hear from you! I don't know why but I think of you often and whisper a prayer for you. I am sorry to hear of your issues with your weight, but your life is worth the small gain. Greetings to all my lovely June Bugs! You all are really doing great. I've had a few problems. Had to have band unfilled, then found out I have kidney and gall stones. Just passed a kidney stone the other day so in the respect I'm feeling better. Gallbladder doesn't seem to be bothering me to much. I'm gonna wait and see what happens before I have the gallbladder taken out. I'm in the process of getting my band refilled. I have a small band that only holds 4 cc of fluid. I need to excercise but honestly,after a year, I just can't wrap my head around excersing. I'd rather have someone pull my teeth out without novacaine or have my toenails pulled off with no pain meds then excercise. What is my problem? You all keep up the great work.

Hi Junies: Long, when I saw your picture of you at the top of the mountain, I thought you looked beautiful! Your legs do not look bad, really I think it's in your head. Not that it doesn't mean you will not feel good about your legs. I think we all have a body part that we become uncomfortable with. For me it's my upper arms. I hate them and now they look like bat wings with wrinkles and flesh hanging down. But you look stunning and I'm not BSing you. I wish I was out in Col with you. I'd go shopping for that special dress with you! Go for it Long, buy a dress and then send us pics. Allie: Have fun on your trip to Disney! We were there early May and I love to go there. Send pics of you in your sexy dresses, Ouch! I bet you look hot. :-) I am leaving on Thursday to fly out to Utah for 10 days. I just wish my DH was going with me. He doesn't have enough vacation time. Its my brother in law and sister in laws 25th anniversay. I am going to really miss him. We've never been apart this long. I am actually having anxiety over leaving him. :-(

OK, ladies. I have been on this site for a year since my surgery. I have had a steady wt. loss and have not faltered from my new eating. Now,I get to what my weight has been for the past 10 years and I stop losing weight, I start eating things I haven't eaten in a whole year. I'm beginning to think I am afraid to go lower then my weight of the past 10 years! I can't figure out why I am sabotaging my progress. I haven't lost any weight since March. I really need to lose another 30-40 lbs. Has this happened to anyone else?

Headhunter: Why are you so hostile? Most of us have been talking on this board for over a year and no one has been anything but nice to each other and no one has contributed more to this board than indiogirl.

The dr. didn't say and I didn't ask, I was to groggy from the anesthesia. I'll ask him when I go back. I'm thinking it is this one pill I take. When I don't take it with yogurt or something, it would sit in the bottom part of my esophogus and burn for hours. So, that may be what happened. Thank God, it's healed now so I can start my refils.

He noted that I had some irritation of my upper stomach and lower esphogus, he unfilled my band and said come back in 3 wks and we'll start fills again. So, this week I go back and start over with the fills. I am actually happy it's like starting last year over again and I still have 30 lbs I want to lose. I've been stuck and have not lost any weight for the past 3 months. I haven't gained but no loss, so maybe this will get me jump started. Thanks for your concern. Allie: Isn't it a great feeling to know you have your daughter through high school? I love having adult children who can make sense of things and actually give me advice now. Is she as pretty as you are? That is some before and after picture of the ol gut that is now gone. Good job.

Oregon: I am soooooooo sorry to hear about your dad. I lost my father very suddenly a long time ago. As each day passes you will learn to cope and it becomes tolerable, but it's never OK. My dear father has been gone 24 years and to this day I miss him. Cherish your memories and you'll carry him with you. My prayer for you, is that God will wrap his loving Fatherly arms around you and give you peace.

Raw: Welcome and visit here often. This is a great group of people on this board. I would have never been able to lose the weight i did without the support of this board and wonderful christian ladies. Keep your calories around 900-1000 cals and you will do great. Keep coming back here though and read as much as you can. This was a life saver for me. You're in my prayers

Wow, what a year it's been. Thank you to each of you for your support. I never dreamed it possible to lose the weight I have over this past year. Another 30 to go and I'll be home.
