I was sleeved on March 12 and I have lost 57 pounds since jan 2015. I know I should have lost more but I am eating the wrong foods and not counting my Protein. I've been very bad. I want to start back on track but food is my enemy. Any advice on how to get back on track and eat the right way?

I had my sleeve surgery on March 12, My weight was 250 at weigh in, I am now at 220, with a thirty pound weight loss, I'm so proud thus far but I'm having trouble with being hungry often. I can usually eat about four to five small meals a day, usually no More than 800 calories a day but my carbs are usually 50 to 60 a day. I know that's not good that's why I've slowed down losing weight, any suggestions on how to limit my carbs and what to eat?

I went on vacation, this is my eight week post surgery, and I ate a bite of everything, I was a bad girl, eating sweets and even a few donuts, now it's time to come back to the real world. I seem to not get enough to eat, how do I start back on the right track and what would you recommend eating?

Sick close to the plan, I hear if they have to go back in, it's awful. I average 7 - 800 calories a day make sure you get in your protein -
I was off work for three and a half weeks, I was feeling fine after the 2 and 1/2 week then started throwing up. I took phenegren and got better, make sure you are doing your walks and using the breathing spirometer, and sip sip sip, this will help tremendously, good luck

Eggs made me dearly sick, it took about another week to digest the egg thing, whew

I stalled at two weeks post op, but third week started losing again, when I weighed in at 4 weeks I was so shocked too actually see a 26 lb. Weight loss, keep getting in your protein, that's the most important :-) u can do it!

I had my one month check up and I lost 26 pounds. I'm doing good on getting my protein. The doctor said if I'm reaching my protein, it shows because I will lose the weight, she was very proud :-) I stalled a few times but when it does catch up, you will see your weight fall off :-)

hospital stay and back to work
paulatoney replied to keriannk's topic in POST-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
I stayed overnight for the sleeve, came home next day did not use any pain meds, made myself get up and walk and forced fluids, mainly water, after three to four days I felt complete again, although I still am very tired and weak at times, I push my walks, about five to ten minutes in the house, and keep drinking fluids, you'll get stronger -
Good to know that's probably what is wiping me out so easily hopefully energy will come

This is my eighth day post surgery and I've lost 13 pounds. I seem to be up every three maybe four hours and I'm totally wiped out again and ready to lay down. Is this normal, and if so how long does this last? I go back to work in another week, concerned I'm going to be exhausted, Any suggestions or comments are appreciated.
