Hi my name is Yelonda but all my friends call me Yolie. I was banded 6 years ago by Dr, Babinaeu From Tyler Texas. I did great my first 4 years . Lost around 70 lbs. then it seemed like I started getting stuck on everything I ate but ice cream and junk foods, so that's what I continued to eat. During that time my husband got sick we lost our insurance. Therefore I went without having my band unfilled and had to live like that for the next 2 years. Gaining more weight than I started out losing. Every time I laid down to sleep I aspirated. I would have to sit up to sleep, for fear of aspirating. Well now all is good. I'm on Medicare and they approved my revision to the sleeve, My surgery is March 30th at 9:15 I'm now on my 2 weeks of high protein liquid to help shrink my liver and lose some weight before surgery. I'm excited and scared at the same time, I'm concerned about trapped gas pains afterword's. So that's my story. Thanks for being here because I'm sure I'm going to need some advice, recipes, encouragement and friendship. :D  :)  :D  :)  :D
