Does anyone know of a good place to get fills in Lincolnshire? I currently go to the Thornbury Hospital in Sheffield. Not only is that over an hour's drive, but it's £270 ($500).
Anywhere more convenient/cheaper?
Thanks!
I'm coming up to the two year mark, and I've lost a fair amount of weight so far (I've just added my pics to the before and after thread).
However, can people of more than two years banded tell me what weight loss I might expect from now on (if any).
Thanks for your time!
This is a great thread...
I've made three big mistakes...
1) Choc
2) o
3) late
I would tell anyone (especially in the UK where candy is sweeter), the band doesn't work with sugary food. (thankfully, I don't indulge these days)
That's strange - I've been banded not much more than a year, and I can tolerate a slice of thin 'n' crispy pizza without too much trouble (of an evening).
Maybe I could use a fill?
It's a shame we can't all have an afternoon nap to "reset" our bands... Maybe I should suggest it to my boss...
"I need a mid-afternoon nap to ensure good weight loss". Not sure he'd buy it, to be honest.
I have the same problem, Kat. If only I had the same restriction in the evening as in the morning. I'm okay until about 7, maybe 7.30 at night, then it's "hello pizza!" (if I'm not strict with myself)
Try one of the following replies...
a) It's something new they're adding to pizza... The weight's just falling off me!
Diet and exercise.
Granted, option is slightly less believable.
I want to know the answer to this, too... My nose never used to run when I was full, but it does now - is it just a build-up of mucus that would normally enter the stomach area, but is trapped?
